Biography

Edmund holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from the University of London and obtained his Certificate of Legal Practice (CLP) in a single seating. He thereafter commenced his pupilage at an established law firm in Kuala Lumpur which had its main focus on tortious claims particularly in the area of running down matters or personal injury claims involving motor vehicle accidents and representing insurance companies.
During the term of his pupillage, he was also exposed to a wide variety of civil litigation areas including contractual disputes and was also granted the opportunity to conduct trials at the Magistrates court independently. Edmund was admitted as a Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2021.
Edmund subsequently joined the Firm with a primary focus in the areas of commercial and corporate and tortious litigious matters including defamation, property damage and nuisance. He currently assists the partners of the Firm in various civil litigation matters relating to contractual disputes, construction and building disputes, landlord and tenant disputes, debt recovery, tortious claims and family law matters and disputes including probate or will and letters of administration (in the case of intestacy) and divorce petitions. Edmund also assists in real estate and conveyancing matters such as sale and purchase of residential and commercial properties and lands which includes handling sale and purchase transactions and agreements, perfection of charge and discharge of charge.
In his spare time, Edmund eagerly participates in various sports and physical activities with his friends such as jogging, badminton and table tennis and firmly believes in balancing health and work-life and loves to socialize. Edmund also enjoys reading during his spare time and can be found reading anything from legal articles to journals and reported cases to keep abreast with the latest development in the legal industry and occasionally, fictional novels which helps him unwind.
