Biography
Viknesh is the co-founder and managing partner of the Firm. He was previously a member of the Rotary Club of Damansara Heights and during such time was appointed as a director and to serve as a Treasurer for the year 2018/19. Viknesh also currently sits in the board of Hitachi Systems Digital Services (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., a reputable multinational company, having been recently appointed as a director and currently advises the board of directors on all legal matters or issues.
Viknesh is a highly experienced litigator and has througout his years of practise, appeared at all levels of the Courts of Malaya and Sabah & Sarawak. Through these experiences which he has harnessed over the years that he is able to provide advise and pragmatic solutions to clients in the different areas of conflict resolutions stemming from complex breaches of contracts to obtaining urgent court-sanctioned injunctions, amongst others. Viknesh's thoughtful research of the intricacies of law and legal submissions have seen some of his cases reported in the legal journals as case studies.
The clients which Viknesh and the Firm represents include public listed companies and its subsidiaries, associated and group of companies which are involved in a broad spectrum of industries ranging from manufacturing, automotive, business services to Information Technology, E-commerce and blockchain. His engagement includes advising the upper management and board of directors of these companies on corporate matters as well as those involving highly litigious matters.
Prior to establishing and co-founding the firm, Viknesh was the head of litigation in a well established law firm from 2010 until his departure in 2013 to set up his own practice which has transcended from a sole proprietorship into what it is today with an evergrowing presence.
From time to time, Viknesh is sought by corporations to conduct legal workshops and presentations in the areas of contract, commercial laws and legal implications and limitations relating to IoT (Internet of Things), cyrptocurrencies and Blockchain.
